Jane Martinson

Jane Martinson is a journalist, author and Marjorie Deane Professor of Financial Journalism at City, University of London. She first wrote about the Barclay brothers when they bought the Daily Telegraph in 2004 and her investigation in 2020 was not only shortlisted for two national journalism awards but led directly to this book. Her career includes many years at the Guardian, as Head of Media, Women’s editor and US business. She also worked for the Financial Times and has visited the Channel Islands several times.
