Edward Chaney

Edward Chaney is the Professor of Fine and Decorative Arts at Solent University, and a Commendatore of the Italian Republic.

He met G.B. Edwards when he was a student, encouraged him to finish The Book of Ebenezer Le Page and persuaded Hamish Hamilton to publish it in 1981. G.B. Edwards dedicated the novel to him, much as Ebenezer dedicates his book to Neville Falla.

Genius Friend, Edward’s biography of G.B. Edwards, was launched at the Guernsey Literary Festival in 2015.
