Adrian Plass
Adrian Plass is a British author and speaker who writes primarily Christian humour, but also short stories, Bible commentaries and novels with a more serious tone. His most popular books are a series concerning The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass which is a humorous, fictional satire of Christian life and which has sold over a million copies worldwide. His latest book is a sequel to The Shadow Doctor. These novels follow the exploits of the Shadow Doctor himself and his young colleague Jack as they employ original and unusual ways to help an extraordinary variety of characters who are dealing with their own shadows. No easy answers. Some interesting questions. Both novels are published by Hodder Faith.
Over the last three decades Adrian and his wife Bridget, have been speaking, teaching and performing all over the world in every venue you can imagine, and a few you probably can't. They have enjoyed a special connection with Scargill House Conference Centre in North Yorkshire since it reopened in 2010 where, as well as other events, they particularly enjoy leading creative writing seminars and workshops.
