Charlie & Magnus Buchanan

Husband and wife author and illustrator team Magnus and Charlie Buchanan published their third illustrated book, The Invasion of the Wavelets, in December 2018.

Charlie Buchanan is an artist and illustrator based in Guernsey in the British Channel Islands. She gained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Falmouth University College before travelling extensively and painting in Spain for a number of years. She has exhibited in both solo and group shows in the UK, Spain and Guernsey.

Charlie finds inspiration in Literature, early photography and the magic of storytelling. She has developed a deep interest in the beauty of the book since childhood and has now published two of her own with her husband and co-creator Magnus Buchanan.
