Evan Davis

Economist, journalist and presenter Evan Davis is known for presenting BBC2’s Newsnight, as well as Dragons’ Den and business conversation programme The Bottom Line. In his book Post Truth, Evan charts a route through the muddy waters of the post-truth age. Every day we encounter exaggeration, euphemism, words designed to mislead without actually lying and, sometimes, pure nonsense.

In Post Truth: Why we have reached Peak Bullshit and what we can do about it, Evan sets out to explain how this has happened and why it became more of a concern in 2016.

Before taking up his role at Newsnight in September 2014, Evan Davis was a presenter of the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 and before that was the Economics Editor of the BBC, the most senior economics reporter in the corporation.
